Personal Training with Shelly has brought a new dimension to my idea of fitness.
Our sessions are strenuous but also up-lifting. She encourages you to work harder, do 2 more push-ups, hold that plank for 30 seconds more and use heavier weights. At the end of a session, you are proud of your accomplishments and feel like you have just climbed Mt. Everest. This training has been beneficial to me in two areas. First, on our annual ski trip this year, I had better endurance, strength and could keep up with the better skiers in our group. It felt good! On the second front, the core work and practice on the technique of getting up from the floor hands free has paid off as I can confidently place and pick up my new 4 month old grandchildren on their play mat. Our session is the cornerstone of my weekly schedule."
